TRAPHX SITE RULES


  • No fireworks


  • While driving on the site, please keep speed below 5mph to keep dust down. Please be considerate!


  • ATVs, UTVs, and all rovers, autonomous or otherwise, must stay on trails. Leave the trail only on foot, as tire tracks persist for years.


  • Please do not make any additional fire rings. Elevated gas firepits are allowed. Use of main fire ring with board approval only.


  • Please pick up all launch related trash, such as used ignitors and plastic caps. Picking up these items for your fellow rocketeers who launched previously will curry favor in the eyes the the rocket gods. A trashcan is available at the LCO table.



  • All persons intending to fly high power must be a club member on good standing, and possess the appropriate certification level from either Tripoli or NAR.


  • Persons intending to certify should send an email to traphxrocketclub@gmail.com. The certification form can be found on the Tripoli certification pages or here on this website. We would ask that your certification rocket is properly simmed and ideal deployment delay known. This is a Tripoli club, those wishing to certify with NAR should make prior arrangements with those who do that sort of thing.


  • All cows are assumed spherical, especially while considering aspherical dynamics in spherical coordinates.


Flyers will fill out a flight card for all flights, regardless of motor size. After being initialed by the Range Safety Officer, The card will be put in the queue for the Launch Control Officer to announce the launch over the PA system. Blank flight cards will be available at the launch, or you may print them ahead of time by downloading them from the documents page on this website.
