CERT FLIGHT PROCEDURES
With regards to CERT flights, the following is in effect.
For TRA Student member planning a Certification Flight of any Level any Organization: A student flyer planning a certification flight shall contact a their school liaison first to contact Paul to then contact the Prefect, TAP or L3CC to schedule their certification flight prior to attending the launch, all flyers that attend the launch failing to schedule their certification flight prior to the launch date, will not be attempting to certify at the launch that month.
- For Tripoli only Prefects/TAP Members/TRA BOD members can certify Level 1 or 2 and TAP Members can certify Level 3. TAP Member list is located middle of the page. https://www.tripoli.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=795696&module_id=468541
- We do not need to watch you assemble your motor but we encourage fliers to first enlist their team members for assistance. You ultimately check a box on the form that says you assembled the motor - and that assistance is OK.
- TRA Level 2 test should be completed before the certification attempt.
- For certification post flight rocket examination, bring it to the BOD ‘encampment’ and someone will note success or failure. The form will ultimately be signed by the Prefect or a TAP who has final authority for determining success or failure.
